they will be as good as they were the year they won the super bowl. it doesn't matter if they werent active in free agency that doesnt have anything to do with how they are goin to do this year. willie parker is comin back behind a much improved o-line so that could only mean he will get better. big ben will be better because he has put all of his injuries behind him and he is ready to go, mike tomlin seems like he is glad to be the new coach and he seems to be filled with class and that is a good thing considering pittsburgh is a young team. hines ward is back and he will only get better and santonio holmes will be the starter so that means the offense will be fast, and dont expect not to see the old trick plays from whisenhunt, because the steelers new offensive coodinator is more than willing to try out schemes on the offense.the porter loss i think will have an impact but those holes can be filled in the draft, be sides the steelers have went from a 4-3 to a 3-4 so they wont need so many linebackers. they will try and strengthen the secondary, probably the CB position and i think leon hall fits in perfectly with the system. he is a speedy back that can follow just about anyone and has the potential to be one of the best in the league. expect alot from this pittsburgh team in the future, because every steelers coach has left their mark and expect tomlin to do the same

Well, I'm a Steeler fan so you ca probably guess what I'm going to say.....I think that Big Ben, Willie Parker, Hines Ward, and Polamalu are going to be hungry for another SuperBowl ring.Even tho Joey Porter left it does not mean that the Steelers ain't got a good defense, they still have Larry foot,Troy Polamalu,Clark Haggans, and James Farrior.Willie Parker did really well last year and Santonio Holmes will be a much better returner after he works on holding the ball better.Big Ben will not throw so many INTs because he has had the whole off-season to rest.Their center may be retired but I think we can pick another one up in the draft or the back-up will be able to hold up.It will be hard for the players to adjust to the new coach but he has been nothing but successful in his career, especially in stopping the run.So my answer is they will be pretty good.

We are going to do very well next year. We will make the playoffs and hopefully go to the Super Bowl. Big Ben is rested and our O will do great. It hurts that we lost Joey Porter but our defense is not hurt that bad. We still have Troy boy and Farrior.

I dont think theyre going to be any good for a long time.... Big Ben got Big headed and theyre losing some key members.

as well as any other year recently. depends on which team shows up to the games. but if they are running on all 8 cylinders they are always tough to stop.
