Behind every face you pass, behind every stranger...there is a story. Strangers are people too. Every person suffers trauma, pain, happiness and joy. Everyone has experienced love or hardship. People have endured failure and rejoiced in success. What is your story? Next time you encounter a real jerk in public...remember there is a reason he is a jerk and wonder what kind of day/week/year he has had. I often wonder what other people's lives are like and if they are getting what they deserve. II sympathize forthose that can't smile and for those who relish in hatred and betrayal. What have you learned through your experiences in this thing we called life?

I do the same thing. I pass people everyday and it hits me in gentle waves that "every single person here has people that love them and that are connected to them, they all have a story and unique events in their lifetime that might one day cross mine" it's so weird to think like that....

I for one don't really want to share my story but I think this whole concept is intriguing

This is a very good question. I love the point you made about how you never know what is happeneding in other's lives :]

I have gone through alot of hardships in life [even though i am only 15] but it only makes me stronger. I have screwed up so many things that i have attempted, that it only makes the successes sweeter. All the things and people who have let me down have motivated me to never let MYSELF down. I have dreams that are bigger than i will ever be, but it is what gets me through the day.

Learning that people don't always stick by you has made me not care as much, so many people leave that i am so thankful for the few who stay.

I have learned music eases all the pain.
Ben and Jerry are my best friends when things go wrong.
If someone can make you smile regardless of anything, don't them go.
A good hair day can change your outlook on life.
Writing is sometimes the best way to get people to understand.
There is no such thing as "a bad person".

I have already learned quiet a bit, and i hope to learn sooo much more before my days are through.

I've always been affected by my upbringing and the people in my life. My mother struggled to support us alone with help from people in her life, and because she had problems she sometimes wasn't the most loving parent and frequently was abusive. Because I didn't always feel loved, I learned a great deal of empathy for others and I'm generally a people person because of that. I pay a lot of attention to nature and I care about all living things. I have a sense of right and wrong and generally root for the underdog. I believe that god has blessed me and that I am one of his (or hers) most loved children, and that's why my general out look on life is a positive one. I always manage to come out the better for my experiences because of this and I believe I am a survivor.

Post Script:

I also believe you reap what you sow, and if you do good good things will come your way. It's a round world after all, and those who do harm will not live a long happy life. They may live long, but they wont find happiness.

I don't care to share my story, but I have had a pretty shitty life and for the ones who are jerks in public - they deserve it right back - I'm not a jerk in public, and I have every excuse to be - only those who are all wrapped up in themselves don't care enough to be polite for the few moments it takes to make a difference

I always smile at jerks but some days I really want to say what the H*ll is wrong with you..Duh, you don't park your cart in the middle and block everyone. I love the look they give you, like it's your fault there so bright.LOL
