I would suggest you check with your Gyn to make sure it's not anything harmful, but I have had this.
When you ovulate, usually 14 days after your period, it's normal to have a clear, mucously-like discharge. Sometimes it even hurts a little on the side of your abdomen where that ovary let the egg out.

I also, as many women, have a discharge all the time. Not as much as you describe, but clear or white. I wear a lightdays every day, and it's normal.

You could have an infection, and these have varying symptoms. Don't ignore getting it checked, as it could cause much more problems for you if you don't.

Look up on medline symptoms or other reliable websites until you see you Dr. It might help ease your mind.
Good luck to you.

Hi there.

This is very normal. It is called cervical mucus.
All females have cervical muscus that thins and thickens through out the month. Around the time you ovulate your cervical muscus will be very thin and runny. Right before your period is due it can be very thick and white.

Some woman produce more cervical mucus then others. But we all have it. You can also chart this cervical mucus whether it is thin, thick, and the color, along with your temperature and periods and use this as natural birth control. This is the birth control option that I have used for 10 years.

If it is yellow it could be an infection, but since there is no foul smell I doubt it. I wouldn't worry. I asked this same question to my OBGYN the last visit I was there.

Hope this helped & have a nice night!

I have read something online before explaining what happens to your body during a menstrual cycle,I did not know this either ontill then, it said that between periods women will get a discharge just like your having, I have the same thing sometimes ,don't worry it's normal, try looking into periods and pregnacy more I'am sure you will find more info, keep looking.

I had the same problem before I had my hysterectomy last year. When you ovulate your cervix can make the discharge. It is all part of the hormonal change that takes place during that part of the month. It is common for women to have small cysts on their cervix...this could be where your discharge is coming from. Oh and with many women it is common for it to get worse as they get older. Try wearing a pantyliner if it bothering you.

This means you are in the furtile phase of your cycle and can get pregnant very easy! That is a good sign that you are ovulating! Especially if you feel pain around the bottom part of your stomach before seeing this! I would recommend you read the book Taking Charge Of Your Fertility by Toni W.

since there is no smell or anything like that, it could just be a normal discharge. Depends on how old you are too, and what you are doing (i.e. stress levels, etc) however, since it is yellow, you may have an infection. If youa re concerned, go see a doctor

im pretty sure its an std. although most std's do come with itching, burning and redness, not all show that many signs or maybe its just not fully developed.
another thing could possibly be that ur pregnant. my mom had the same issue

The discharge you're describing is NORMAL.

The jelly-like substance is from ovulation.

its just sounds like normal discharge. white and pastey. or clearish-white and jelly like and sometimes when you use the bathroom it hangs out from you vagina.
