so i wanna do my septum but im not 18 and my dad doesnt want me to get it done so he wont sign for me... i was just wondering if there are any major risks of doing it myself and other peoples experiences... thanks.

If I were you, I definitely wouldn't do it myself. With septum piercings, there's a "sweet spot" between the front of your nose and the cartilage, and unless you pierce there, you're going to end up in a lot of pain. Also septums are really easy to pierce crooked, and I'm sure that's not really what you want! Better to wait and get it done right, then try it yourself and mess it up!

like the first person said, never pierce yourself! this girl did it herself and now i think she has an infection. if you really want your septum pierced that bad..(i dont see why you want it pierced..) then at least get it proffessionally done.
