Naruto completely left the Chuunin written exam blank! No wonder Morino Ibiki the ANBU squad leader who oversee the exam smirked when he picked up Naruto's blank as snow test paper. Therefore, Naruto is not Chuunin. Tsunade once asked Shikamaru to retrieve the Village's most talented Gennin for a mission, and Naruto is one of them. But my buddy Andrew says that powerwise, Naruto is close to Hokage style, especially with the Rasengan, which I agree. To be a Chuunin more skill is needed---written, verbal, skill, strategy, analytical thinking, construction, layout, not just another flying energy ball or kunai throw.

Hopefully, he'll train hard and become the Hokage soon!!

In a way Naruto skip Chunnin and went straight to Jonin. At the beginning of Shippuden, Kakshi tested Naruto and Sakura. When they defeated him Kakashi said that they were on an even level with him.

Naruto's first Chuunin exam was interrupted by the Sound/Sand attack. He didn't pass, anyway: only Shikamaru did. However, he defeated Gaara, who had defeated Sasuke, who had defeated Temari. That means Naruto, in a sense, beat every semi-finalist or potential semi-finalist except Shino. And who thinks Shino could beat Naruto?

Anyway, Naruto missed all subsequent Chuunin exams during the timeskip because he was training with Jiraiya. However, Chuunin exams happen twice a year, so another one could easily come into the plot (in 221, Shikamaru is helping organize one).

It's inevitable: Naruto is the strongest ninja of his age in Konoha. He WILL become Chuunin soon, I hope. But he is only a Genin now.

In the lasts chapters, Naruto becomes to be less hot-headed during fighting, it will surely led to a promotion to the chunnin rank in no time.

In terms of power attack, I think he and Sasuke are at the level of a Junnin.

At the start of Part Two, Shikamaru and Temari make it clear that there will be a Chuunin exam soon. Naruto is not a chuunin yet, but with his new skills, it should be no problem.

nope he doesn't. he and sasuke never take another test. they remain genin but they r jonin level. i guess both of them can become the kages of their village. both of them r better then Orochimaru and Jiraiya
Naruto: Hokage
Sasuke: Otokage
ha but Gaara's already Kazekage. Go GAARA!!!!!! he's my favorite character...
