I am assuming I need to access the ignition switch. I have done things like adding OEM fog lights and I know where the alarm system is located under my dash. Any help please!

I think what you will need to know goes beyond what you have done before.

You will get a set of instructions that will have a section specific to your car in terms of which colored wires you need to locate (including some colors that are wrong for your particular model of that car). You will know what they do to verify they are right and the next problem is to locate them under the dashboard which probably has a bottom cover making them impossible to reach them. Then you need to make firm connections to each of those car wires with the remote starter's wires and insulate them to avoid shorts and breakage. You also need to get a power wire through the car's firewall (which is not that simple to do since the only existing holes are way up under the dashboard) and connect its fuseholder to the battery in a firm way. And so on and so on. You do have a video to help but it is very generic and it does not cover topics like how to stand on your head with the front seat pushed back so you can reach all the wiring points required under there nor what will make that box stay in place.

If I had it to do over again I would pay the $150 fee to get a professional to do the work of installation.

I have remote start on my car but have never used it. Probably the best thing to do is check with the dealer. You don't want to mess around with the ignition unless you know exactly what you're doing.
