Hi, is there some kind of goo in your undies 1/2 a year to a 1 year before your period? Boys if you come in here I will report abuse to the admin or whatever controls it!

Hi there. Yes that is normal sweetie.
It is called cervical mucus. It is nothing at all to be concerned over.
But like the other ladies suggested if it becomes yellow or any other color and/or has a oul smell tell your mom or a grown up so they can get you checked out. Then it could be a yeast infection or vaginal infection.
If the 'goo' bothers you, you can buy some panty liners to make you feel dryer and just more confidant.

You can actually have that goo for the rest of your life. It's nothing bad unless it gets a color or an odor. They say that one of the reasons for the goo means that you could be ovulating.

Yes. I had a discharge before I went through puberty. And I had the very same question you are asking now. You are on your way to being a young woman! :) If you have not had your first menses, then it is right around the corner.

its normal... the goo is a vaginal discharge it will probably happen when you are about to get your period Good Luck ; )

yes, it can happen and frequently does. not to worry though. just keep yourself clean. if it has a bad odor or itches, tell your mom. you may need to see your dr. for a check up.relax. maybe now would be a good time to talk to your mom or an adult you trust.

yes and that is normal but if the discharge is discolored or it smells funny and you start to get itching problems then you should go to your doctor.
