yep had to use a brick to brake the glass. I could have been a robber none of the neighbours came out to see what was going on.

Yes -- a few times...the credit card is risky...maybe a driver's license or library card. Depends on how thick or far out the border of the door frame comes out...because that will be used to determine how much angle you place between the door and lock...also you may want to get toilet paper and stuff it in the hold where door jamb sets and locks but the tp keeps it from completely locking...so you go up and push and should open right up.
Also get an extra key made and put it in your wallet. I have used it 3 times when I left my keys in my car. I use a carabiner to hold my keys, bag of my cell phone and my change wallet. I take the keys off and hang the carabiner on the window ...then I click it on and leave the car -- and leave the keys in the ignition...forgetting to reattach...so an extra key is a good idea

When I was in the military and lived in a barracks. I lived on the second floor and always left my window open. Key or no key, being full of liquid courage, I'd always climb the wall and into my room. Scared the hell out of the girl one of the guys brought home that night. I said it wasn't my fault, how would I have seen the tie on the door if I wasn't using the door. Being drunk at the time, I just went to bed and let them continue.

I have locked myself out of my 4th story apartment. I drove back to my shop, got a bucket truck / cherry picker and climbed up to my balcony
I was also doing work in an office building and had the owner unlock a door to a room I needed to work in, and didn't check to see if it automatically locked again, left my tools and everything in the room, walked away, the door closed and I was locked out w/ the owner no where to be found, I got a ladder, moved a ceiling tile, climbed up into the ceiling onto an air duct, hung down, pulled out a tile under me, and jump down into the room, mission-impossible-style

Before my mom wasn't home so I was trying to break in but then she came home and let me in. After that I've made a mental note to teach myself to lock pick doors.

I climbed up the balcony from the 1st floor to the 2d floor and walked in for the duration of the window. It replaced into incredibly hassle-free so then i began locking the window too. became out to be a bad theory.

Yes. I picked the lock with my driver's license and now I'm embarrassed when I have to show them because they are all bent up.
