I'm buying Rigid tools now because: 1) they're good quality tools that are well thought-out, and 2) they offer a life-time service contract for free. But all of the major brands in that price range are excellent tools.

You would definitely have to go with Skil, the 7.0 magnum. here in So. Calif. with all of the houses being built every tract being built the rough framing crews are using skil.
