I have had a coupld of dreams where I was falling...any my Grandmother used to always freak me out with her superstitions that if I ever hit the ground in those dreams, I would never wake up again. Both, you can say. I have dream of flying, like Superman, and felt so real. Seriously. But I those of me falling to a hole-quite a few. Sometimes they are kinda real. I go to bed, then I fall in state of a strong deep, sleep, where I struggle to wake up. It's hard! It's insane. But at the end, I'm fine. Peace!

The first dream is common. Some people attribute it to a drop in blood sugar or pressure.
No, I've never dreamed about flying. I've heard that is a sexually frustrated or repressed dream. Shades of Peter Pan.

I use to dream I was falling all the time and would wake up just before I hit the ground, I always thought it was because I'm terrified of heights......

Yes. I also read that if you don't wake up before you actually hit the bottom, you die. Not sure if this is true or not, though.
