Pharmacy is a grad degree. In college, while getting your bachelors, you take prerequisite courses that pharmacy schools want prior to you going to pharm school. What school you go to and what you major in doesn't matter. Of course, the more prestigious a school you go to, the better your academic record looks. Pharmacy is so competitive, this is important.

In CA, you really need a bachelors to be competitive for pharm school unless you did a school's pre-pharm/pharmD program right out of high school.

In LA, you've got USC and Western Univ in Pomona.

This subject has been really popular lately and there have been a lot of long answers that gave all sorts of details about this topic.

If you just enter "pharmacist" or pharmacy school in the space above where it says 'search for questions' you will get a whole lot of information.

Good luck.
