Personally, I would take you or anyone with a bankruptcy. Everyone makes mistakes. Also, because I know that you don't have a bunch of other bills to pay anymore and you can afford to pay me. I would require that you pay me first months, last months and deposit though.

Depends whether the Landlord is prepared to take the risk - although at least he knows there's a risk involved. Taking on anyone is a risk in itself, and it doesn't always mean that someone seemingly able to pay the rent, will pay the rent. Renting out property is not always about tenants rights - there are lots of reputable, honest and helpful landlords out there who are ripped off big style by dodgy tenants. Speaking personally, it would perhaps put me off, but I wouldnt definitely say a no.

Depends on the landlord.
I am a landlord and would not take someone in who had a bankruptcy on record. Too risky. The additional money one can request as security is not nearly enough to compensate for the trouble of evicting someone.

It depends on the landlord, but most will require a deposit in case you happen to be late on rent. The most recent activity in your credit report (the last 2 years) tends to be weighed the heaviest. Be prepared to pay a month or two's worth of rent early if your credit isn't too good.

Me personally I wouldn't...bankrupt people are high risk... Having said that many rent markets will take in just about anyone if their vacancy inventory is high. You have a better chance with a large apartment complex with a large vacancy inventory than with a small outfit with few vacancies. However, be prepared to fork-out a high deposit or couple of month rent in advance. Good luck.
