I've ben accepted into Grand Valley University, Michigan State, University of Michigan, Purdue, University of Washington-Seattle, and Syracuse. I still haven't heard from NYU ( I sent in my applicaton in late January) and I would go there if accepted. But out of the six, where should I go? Please give reasons.

Sorry I didn't give you details on me. I am going to study psychology. I live in Michigan and I'm not a big fan of the weather.

University of Washington-Seattle or University of Michigan

I would go to Seattle if I had the chance! All of the schools you listed were great schools ... top notch schools and you will get a great education at any of them. Now that said what type of weather do you want? Do you want snowy winters and nice weather the rest of the year or do you want little or no snow? I would take little or no snow even if I have to put up with some rain.

Hope this helps,

Jennifer

You need to visit. I thought I would go to Michigan my whole life. But after being accepted & visiting Michigan, I absolutely HATED the campus. Definitely visit the schools. Also, it depends on your field of studies. Do you want a smaller school? Then definitely Grand Valley. Bigger school? UM/MSU, etc.

It depends what field you're going for.

Engineering and math? Purdue--by far.

Science? Probably U of Michigan.

Anything else: Syracuse
