Sometimes before i get my period when i touch where i think my ovaries are there is some pain. This is the second time i've gotten pain and i should be getting my period on thursday. Last time this happened i asked my mom about it and she said that its probably my ovaries and that i should be fine and that it happens to some people around the time of their periods. SO, i was just wondering does anyone else get ovarie pain around the time of their period or is their something wrong with me. I don't think its serious because last time the pain went away after my period.

Yeah, this is normal. Just make sure they arent too painful, because that could mean trouble. But as long as the pain isnt so bad that it causes you to have to stay home and lay in bed all day, you are completely fine and normal. I get them too, things like ibuprofen and even taking certain birth control pills can reduce the pains. Or even try using a heating pad or taking a hot bath! Those work well for me. Exercising helps a ton too. Feel better!

What you are dealing with is what is called ovulation pain. Drs tend to call it by a German word mitzelschmertz.

And yes, this is normal to have (I've had it myself on a number of occasions). If this pain ever starts to interfere with your ability to function (same thing if this ever happens with menstrual cramps) pls talk to your mom about it and also see your dr.
