politicians who care about the people's needs and problems etc.. rather than acting like they are the only ones in charge. Maybe they all should have a conscience too?

I like John Edwards very much. He is the only one who seems to speak honestly to the hard and heavy lifting we are all going to have to do to get ourselves out of the situation we are in domestically and internationally. The rest simply tell people what they want to hear. I'd rather be respected than pandered to.

How about if we start with an absolute bottom threshold of someone who is going to follow the laws, rather than break them.
If we can get at least that much, it will be a huge improvement.

Some that have some sense and the gonads to use it. Newt Gingrich for one. Joe Lieberman for another. Ronald Reagan for one. Franklin Roosevelt for another.
