anyone like the song "imagine" by John Lennon? i thought it was really meaningful and, since i wasn't alive back then, wonder how it fit in when it was written adnwant to compare that to how it fits in today.

It means as much today, if not more. I wasn't into the song all that much when it first came out and I was a kid but as I get older it makes me weepy-eyed. My throat chokes up. Allergies or nostalgia, take your pick.

great songs will always endure the test of time! just when you think that it's outdated some one else will decide to do a cover of the song and what was old is new again.
