I like them with polo shirts - with maybe a cami underneath in a contrasting color. Almost any color works with khaki depending mostly on the exact shade of khaki.
A more pulled together look for khakis is a simple vest (maybe chambray or denim?) with a tailored white button down shirt underneath.

khaki pants can really go with any great color, but stick to a bold or dark color is the khaki color is faint. if it is a darker shade, then white will look good as well as any other color. polos, button towns, dressy shirts, etc. will go depending on the style you're looking for and the shoes/accessories.
