definitely go and see it. I think it is just as good as "V" Of course it doesn't touch the Matrix though. I think you will dig it if you like "V" and "Matrix." You won't be sorry!

I much preferred V for Vendetta, but I am a Wachowski Brothers fan - I really like the way that they write.

I do not (and probably never will) care for Frank Miller's writings which is the book 300 is based on.

That said, 300 was much more graphic ( think Sin City) and V for Vendetta is about the story/dystopia. Very different!

i love v for vendetta. 300 is pretty darn good two. however, both of these movies cannot match up to the lord of the rings. i not much of a fan of the matrix trilogy. nothing wrong with it. just not my thing.

300 is definitely worth watching. if you are looking for an epic historical piece, then don't watch it. it has a dreamlike quality too it. very much surreal. it's almost like the people who made were on acid, but had one hell of an imagination.

if you have the chance to see it, watch it. don't pass it up. lot's of action, beautiful photography, and choreographed so wonderfully.

There's really no comparison. 300 is one of the best movies within the last few years (and the movie to beat in 2007). Gerard Butler as King Leonidas was a great choice. The characters are great, the flow of the movie is exquisite, not to mention the cinematography. Any nay-sayers should put a sock in there mouth, they probably liked Alien Vs Predator. This movie is definitely a must see. My friends and I saw it opening night, Sunday, and Monday. Hopefully I'll get the chance to see it again this week. Gets better every time you see it.

I haven't seen it and don't want to. It looks pathetically ludicrous. V for Vendetta wasn't a very good film, just okay. (7/10). Also the LOTR/ Matrix trilogies are both completely overvalued.

I have heard that it is a very good movie and I also thought that V was a really good movie too. but I'll wait till 300 comes out on DVD I'm not a fan of sitting through 3 hour movies.

I really liked "V" myself, but 300's cinematography was just beautiful. It really is worth seeing, just not so much for the historical aspect (lot of liberties taken). The ONE thing that I could have lived without would be some of the more, er, colorful scenes; and by colorful, I mean "red". Watched a lot of it between my fingers. The actors were top-notch in my opinion, better than "V".

Oh for the love of God, I can't believe you compared The 300 to V for Vagina.
