How do I make a pedigree chart on my computer?

Do I need to download a special program? Can I do in on Microsoft Word? If so, how? What other programs can I make a pedigree chart on?

Turn on the DRAWING toolbar in Word. You will see AUTOSHAPES, the pulldown menu for autoshapes has the option of Flowcharts and Connectors. You can use these to construct a chart.

There are probably special programs to help you with this but I am not sure what they are called. Good luck
