I'm thinking about buying a WCW World Haevyweight replica belt. I am going to get the version from 94-2001 not the classic version. My question is i have two places to get it from, one is the wwe shopzone. Whats the difference between the WCW World Heavy Weight Title, and the WCW World Heavyweight Title(Alliance Version) ?

Ahh, the big gold. An excelent choice. What is the difference between the versions of this belt.
Originally the belt did not have the name plate. This was back when it was used as the NWA world title.
The name plate was added by Ric Flair when he owned the belt.
The belt was vertually unchanged when it was the WCW International Championship and latter WCW World Championship.
When it was bought by the WWE, it was the same version that had been used since the early 1990s. It was not changed until it was reintroduced as the World Championship. A crown logo on the top of the belt was replaced by a WW logo for the WWE.
If I were you, I would get the WCW version, sans the WW logo. Ya, thats what I'd do.
