I prefer the cutting, because I can cut only the parts that I like out of the whole.

It's really hard to pick one over the other. Each brings its own rewards. But, if I have to, I'll go with the pasting because then you can see the whole thing just fall into place and take shape right before your eyes. It's like watching a birth.

I like both actually...well no the cutting so much. haha
I like looking for the images and words (then cutting them) pasting is pleasing because you get to see the images and words come together as a whole bit by bit - but it gets sticky so that is a down side.

- dammmm I guess my answer was pasting hehehe

The cutting I always manage to get my hands covered in glue no matter what. I end up like Mr Griswald from National Lampoons Christmas Vacation when he kept getting magazine pages stuck to his hands. I am terrible with glue!

Cutting. I feel important when I'm in charge of the fate of a piece of paper. I feel powerful when I have in my hands to pieces of what used to be one piece of paper. I know I did a good job when I see a straight, clean cut without cutting myself this time. God Bless Crayola scissors.

Cutting. Pasting is too messy. Then everything sticks to my fingers and gets pasted in the wrong place.

The pasting for sure. There is nothing better then gluing a piece of paper and letting the excess glue dry and eating it. YUM!

The "copy". I get a bit freaked out when I press the "cut" button or CTRL+X and the text or picture disappears.
