which brand has better mascara ?

I want a mascara that would make my lashes have a lot a volume. Is it better to buy waterproof mascara then regular.

Oh, the search for the holy grail mascara! Oi, what a terrible time that is, and even when you think you've found one, you find yourself wanting more after awhile.

I have had good personal experience using Maybelline's Full 'n Soft, CoverGirl's LastExact, and L'Oreal's Telescopic. Other mascara I've heard many good reviews on, but either haven't tried or didn't like on myself, are DiorShow, Urban Decay's Big Fatty, and Lancome's Femme Fatale.

I'm personally using Telescopic at the moment and find it is an amazing mascara for lengthening lashes and giving a decent amount of volume. I found that Full 'n Soft gave me great volume and decent length - so pick your poison.

I'd only use waterproof on occasions that merit needing it... so the beach, an occasion where you know you'll cry (graduations, funerals, etc.), and those types of occasions... oh, and if you sweat a lot, or live in humid climates like Florida during the summer, waterproof might work well. Just make sure you do a good job taking it off at night, because waterproof mascara tends to be more stubborn to get off, and you'll probably require an oil-based makeup remover to break down the product.

I've used so many different mascaras...really expensive and cheap but I have to say that Maybelline is the best. I love Lash Stylist in Very Black. The little comb separates every lash and it doesn't leave clumps. I personally don't like waterproof mascara. It makes my lashes brittle and its really hard to get off.

great lash - but not the waterproof - unless you don't want it to come off easily.
Rachel Ray recently said on a makeup segment "Great Lash is the mascara of the people!" She said even stars that can afford much more expensive mascara buy this one!

I use 2 kinds- Mac and CoverGirl. MAC is a bit pricey but works great. if your looking for something that is at a reasonable price go with CoverGirl- lash exact (purple) separates the lashes real good. For volume go with the brown tube one, and put two to three layers on top lash and ONE on bottom. And DO NOT go with waterproof, unless your getting into water, and use make up remover to take off.

OMG water proof mascara is a mess! i used to have some and you cant really fet it off unless you scrub the crap out of your lashes. and it can pull out lashes too. use can use water proof when you go in the water but other than that try to stay away from it. the mascara i use is Very Sexy by Victoria's Secret. it is fabulous! with no clumps it adds a lot of volume! i wear by that stuff! some other brands are ok but i have tried a lot and that works the best

Try Cover Girl's Lash Exact or Lash Volume. It's about $4 a tube, is waterproof and smudgeproof, will separate and elongate your lashes.

It's the one Queen Latifah promotes.

L Oreal voluminous. Don't use waterproof for every day- it dries out your lashes and will make them brittle over time. Also I find that those ones with 2 steps like a primer and mascara stink.

if you want long but no clump not real thick and maked it like you have more lashes then covergirl, perfect lash mascara, the container is purple and queen latifa used to model it i think, if you want thinker and lots of volumethen get XXL its white and black and pretty cheap, some people think waterproof is bad for your eyes,but its not and harder to get off, but if your eyes water alot get it. i use reg.
