whats the longest its taken anyone to get a positive on a hpt? i just want to know what other people have gone through...
i havent had a period since jan 18. ive taken a couple tests and they have come back neg. i do have some really obvious signs that i might be preg. so i made an appointment with my doc but its not til next week. and just lookin to hear what some others have gone through....

Hmmm, if you were pregnant it really should show up by now, however that's not the case for everyone. You may have very low levels of hcg. The longest it took me was about a week and a half past my missed period. You could go have a blood test done, some clinics do them for free. You get the results either that day or the next, and they are 100% accurate. I hope everything works out for you, good luck with your appointment!

You can have a negative preg test and still be pregnant but you can't have a positive one and not be. The pregnancy hormorne can be detected very early on and the level only needs to be about 50 to get a positive test. These levels double and triple as the pregnancy progresses, so by now, a hpt should have picked it up because your levels would be off the graph. I would say you arn't preggo. Hope doc confirms this soon to put your mind at rest coz stress can delay your period.

I am going through the same thing... I am only a few days late and already taken 6 tests.... I haven't had my period since Feb 8th. I am waiting a few more days to take another.... Good Luck... I hope that mine comes out positive... But you should have gone to the doc a month after the 18th... Over month, something has to be going on.... Again good luck!

hmm it should be showing up by now if you are pregnant. i hadn't had a period since the 16 of jan i did a hpt on the 13 of feb the day i was due for my period and it showed that i was pregnant.. really the only thing you can do now is wait to see your doc!!

Go see your doctor or planned parenthood quick! Blood test and sonogram will give the answer. I went through the same thing exept I am 43 and found it it was just menopause. Chances are you are way young for that. Planned Parenthood will protect your privacy of choice GET THERE!

those on the dollar save for a dollare artwork basically as sturdy as an ept! I used that one and so does each body else i know. Why spend more beneficial than a dollar If that's postive you'll likely know that's precise yet when that's unfavourable you'd be mad as hell you wasted all that money!

it took about 6 home preg tests before it came up with a positive for me! and by that time i was 9-10 weeks pregnant,
all the tests before that one came up neg,
