I know that I don't have a good one. I read other peoples and think boy I wish I could do that.

Imagination is stimulated by what you perceive and how you perceive what you perceive.It could cause fear, or promote creativity
You are not held physically captive, or deliberately stimulated by whatever you are perceiving. It is all brought about by your musing and dwelling over that initial stimulus.You have to submit yourself to it which ,funny enough ,could be nothing in reality if it makes you afraid or something in the future or eternity which would never really happen to you .Simply put it is painting a mental picture. You are the one who decides what colurs go on the canvas and in what order.
