I agree with you. i just hate it about athiests trying to erase God from our country. but in the end they will pay so help them God. and thank God they kept under God in the "pledge of alliegance" in schools. and half of this country is stuck on stupid to believe God hates us. God doesnt hate us, God loves us and wants to be apart of our lives and already is and always will be.

All the radio stations in the United States are privately owned. Although they are regulated by the FCC they are still privately owned and thus can play In God We Still Trust or anything else as long as it does not violate laws of decency, slander, copyrights etc. One nice thing about a radio is it has a knob that turns it to another station or, better yet, OFF.

I believe that a radio station or TV station can play anything they want. This is STILL a free country and no one has the right to prevent a radio station from playing any song they want to play. I am frankly against their playing songs that are anti USA but it is still their prerogative to play them if they want to. I can switch off the program if I do not care for it.

Countries don't believe in anything. People...INDIVIDUALS believe in things. Maybe a country that believes in the primacy of "the collective" would suit you better...like North Korea for example?
Your viewpoint is incredibly statist. A country isn't inherently virtuous or evil. A country just *is*. It is only good if it provides certain things (rights, security, etc) and minimally interferes in the lives of it's citizens.
How come people like you never actually read the written works of our founding fathers? Like the Federalist Papers? Or the philosophy that rooted our founding fathers like John Locke? Or Tom Paine's Common Sense?
If you really dug deep into our American past, you would see that our founding fathers didn't really believe in "the collective" and weren't thrilled about democracy (they called it "mob rule" or "mobocracy"). The reason why the patriots of old revolted against England wasn't to establish a facist totalitarian theocracy here in America based on some misguided notion of Bible belt "god and country" bull crap.
Why is it that people like you don't see how The Pledge of Alliegiance really is no different in principle than forcing all school children to sing the Internationale (as Communist countries did) or go to other indoctrination rallies (like the Hitler Youth did)? Actions designed to get everyone (especially the youth) to conform to one singular idea is the foundation of facism, statism, and blind conformity that leads to depravity like the 3rd Reich or North Korea or Iran. Those actions stifle thought and create a population of sheep that can be fed absolutely anything.
Our founding fathers believed in individuality and the role of *thinking* in our lives. Maybe if you are going to claim to really value this country you should quit spitting out slogans like a robot and actually think for yourself/do some research into our amazing philosophic tradition?

If radio stations, which are privately owned, want to play that song, more power to them. If people want to listen to those stations, that's their choice.
The whole concept of freedom of expression and freedom of religion is allowing individuals and private groups to express themselves and share their beliefs.
It only becomes a problem when the govt gets involved, and starts deciding which religions are valid and which are not.

Um...In America, you have freedom of religion. This isnt some nasty dictatorship where if you don't follow a certain religion, you are raped and murdered.
Our ancestors fought and died for this freedom, you should be glad you live in such a great country. And btw, God doesn't exist.

Amen!!
I don't see why people get so upset with "In God We Trust"! Our country was founded on God, and people should respect that.
