Infowars seems to think they will throw you in jail for not accepting it. Personally? I welcome growing fat in prison, because my crime was not taking a stupid card. Hell! I'll be able to make some great money from it, too! I imagine the autobiography will net few hundred thou on Lifetime, and then there would be the overfictionalized version aired by Hollywood. I wonder who will portray me? Maybe that guy from the Producers, who starred opposite of Matthew Broderick in The Producers... Hmmm...

Really? They cannot and will not arrest and jail people for a fraud of an id card. This is an urban legend, at best, I do believe.

Read the statute. There is no National ID card.

The law requires that states who issue ID cards comply with certain requirements, and the law prohibits federal agencies from accepting any ID that doesn't meet those requirements.

No true. Of course they will arrest someone for fraud with an ID card if the catch. Haven't you ever been to a bar in a college town? It happens all the time there...

Anyways, as much as I hate the idea, we will soon all be getting National Identity Cards. The anti-immigration people and the other gestapo-fans out there are making is so there's no choice anymore...

an id card s a great idea, you dont have to get one, you just wont be able to access governement service, you will be allowed to pay for everything you use on your own
if you use a fraudulent card then you are taking governement services that you are not entitled to and you will be jailed as you deserve, as if you defrauded a credit card
As for growing fat you get fed what they give you and I hope Bubba your new cell husband is gentle with you......the first few times he uses you
