I hate to seem rude but it doesn't really make a lot of sense. I think he's saying that "prophets" are nothing special at all. But I don't see the connection with the first statement. Sounds like someone who advocates suffering for learning. There have been many religions started on that premise. (and incidentally, I think you mean, "the soul may not profit from")

I believe it's probably "There is nothing the body suffers that the soul may not PROFIT from." That would make more sense. Although, as a person with health problems, my body is suffering and it's certainly hard to see what I'm profiting from this. Perhaps it's the constant contact with doctors? The days in bed I wouldn't get if I was healthy? As for the second part of the quote, I guess he's saying there's a prophet inside each of us, we just need someone else to briefly state what we already knew.

Shouldn't the second line read:

that the soul may not profit from.

It changes the meaning a lot. . .
