realistic fiction because I like reading about things that could actually happen, because I really dont like those fantasy/sci-fi books.

Science Fiction.
It's like a blueprint to tomorrow. It's amazing reading the stories from 40 and 50 years ago and seeing how many of the ideas were brought to life.
Sci Fi also takes a good hard look at society and it's structure and warns us where we may be going or hints at what we may have.

absolute favorite - fantasy fiction eg. Robert ordan, Terry Brooks , Terry Goodkind, Robin Hobb - the longer the series the better !
But ! I also read science fiction and horror/ suspense and comedy
