You can buy eye masks that work really well. Or just try slicing some cucumber and putting on your eyes and relax on the couch for about 10 minutes.

There are many causes of dark circles, from age, heredity, allergies, cold or sinus infection, bone structure and glasses which are not so commonly known.

If you would like to apply home remedies to reduce dark circles, here are some of my suggestions:
Buy a box of regular, old fashioned unflavored gelatin (e.g. Knox) from grocery store. Take a small cup or bowl and put in 1 teaspoon of the gelatin mix. Add one tablespoon of boiling water & stir for a minute. Test it on your wrist to make sure it is not too hot. Then, using a cotton ball, pat it under your eyes as you would an eye cream or gel. Go lie down and listen to some music, or take a bath & let it stay on for at least 30 minutes. Then just rinse it off.Gelatin is very high in Vitamin K & Biotin. It will not remove your dark circles on the first application (but you will notice a difference), but if you do it daily for a week, and then 2-3 times a week for maintenance, you should notice a drastic reduction in dark circles.

I love the Mary Kay cumber eye cream. It is so refreshing. Also you can use a pink eye crayon and put a little bit on the dark circle and it hides them and reflects light so they are not as noticeable

alot of the circle are genetic, to temporarily get rid of them, put cucumbers over your eyes once a day for like 15-30 minutes, but to hide them, try putting on green concealer before you put on your base or foundation and blend your base/foundation over the concealer, the green cancels the blue/black/purple look of under eye circles.

I read somewhere if you take two teabags, nothing fancy, run them under warm to hot-ish water and press them to your eyes it will lighten the circles. Something in the tea, tannins or something do the trick. Couldn't hurt.

Putting chilled slices of cucumber over your eyes while you're lying down will help, as will drinking a lot of water, not caffeine drinks.

well, how high up is your pillows? if they are too high, the poofy red dark circles get worse...

also, try getting a face mask you can freeze and then just wear it while lying down and listing to your fav song, or talking on the phone :D

good luck! -michelle =]
