Last I heard he was going to get a shot too prove himself in the outfield, but I can bet he'll be on a short string, cause he has yet to prove that he can consistantly put up the power numbers...now i'd think if he starts off the season on a hot streak they'll most likely stick with him and give him a couple chances, let him ride through a couple slumps and see how if he bounces back, if he has trouble getting through a slump, which im sure he will after pitchers figure out his weak spot, they'll throw in scott spezio and he'll have a nice run, a hot streak, really MVP like, but the minute he starts too cool off, they'll throw Duncan back in, hoping he reacts well to getting benched...but I don't think they'll keep on the bench cause he's too damn natural talented, and his dad is a coach on the team, it just seems like the Duncan will be the new era Alou's... I mean can u imagine, Duncan the coach is a smart coach, he's got pitchers galour studding up, for the most part, he keeps them healthy, and he seems to know how to enter rookies into the show...the way the used wainwright last year, was genius all he had to worry about was throwing strikes, and if he had to let them hit the ball and show confidence in the defense behind him, that really boost his confidence and he's gonna be a stud this year as a starter... But as for Chris Duncan he's gonna be in there everyday, and there gonna have to pitch to him, so they don't have to face pujols, if I were larusso, I'd bat Duncan 8 or 9 the first couple games, until he gets into a grove seeing good pitches, then move him to the 3 hole and put Pujols at clean up, that way they will definetly have to pitch to Duncan, plus all the balls that pujols accidently does crush out of the park, Duncan should be able to scoot around with those long as young legs!!!

well, i believe he has a chance of starting almost every day in the Cardinals line-up. but he is mostlikely going to try and improve on his outfielding skills. He is not going to have a repeat of last year @ the plate, but he will do well enough to get the cardinals through the season.
