Military service is allowed for gays as long as they don't tell they are gay.
Don't ask/don't tell is a compromise piece of policy making the liberals got "don't ask" the conservatives got "don't tell".
The military is about uniformity and discipline and if they can't keep it to themselves they don't show much discipline. Military service is not a right its a privilege.
They do have the same rights to marriage they can marry any person who is willing, who is of the opposite sex, a single, of age, non-relative. Just like strait people.
The government has very little interest in sanctioning love. They have an interest in people having sex in a way that creates more tax payers without having them come from broken families and be a burden to society.
For the most part, the government does not care if two people who get married do so because they love each other or because it is a business relationship, or because they are sick of not being able to get "free" trips from timeshare hucksters. As long as you produce future taxpaying children that the government does not have to support through welfare programs.

Who says the founding fathers were given the information correct in the starting up? we are nevertheless refining the which technique of that little word. in spite of the undeniable fact that, in case you're taking the subsequent portion of that section, i imagine the equality comes from the concept that adult men are meant to were both endowed with existence, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Yeah, the slavery issue took a at the same time as to bypass away. no longer attempting to be flippant right here, in spite of the undeniable fact that the founding fathers were basically adult men like each body else. They were given some issues correct, some issues incorrect, and some issues they basically weren't particular about. yet i do not carry that adverse to them. They gave us a start up. From that start up, we discovered issues about civil rights and the outcome of that word. we are not acceptable both, yet back, we are not status nevertheless. possibly in the destiny we are able to know the answer for your question in fullness. until eventually then, provide us credit for transferring in the right route. in case you concentration on know-how or actual attributes, you'll always get this incorrect. you would possibly want to argue that each one human beings have equivalent declare on the rights to stay or die, to live on or thrive, to experience free or unhappy, and so on. In different words, human beings are human beings - and also you shouldn't truly qualify that fact. they're what they're. The founding fathers expressly knew that with faith, it replaced into obviously no longer a "one length suits all" problem. That actuality may connect the conundrum.

Sissy boys or Gays have way too many rights compaired to normal hetrosexual people. Homsexality is not normal and unnatural, it should be out lawed. Study the civilzations of the past, once the gays came out of their closets the civilzation soon fell. Put gays in a useful position like in prison where they are wanted

Gays have just as much right as anyone else to do the right thing. There is a big difference in disagreeing with an act than hating a person. We don't hate the people we just believe their actions are immoral. The only people who have ever said we hate gays are you people who claim to support them. Quit putting words into our mouths. Expecting us to change our moral standards just because their not the same as yours is DISCRIMINATION!

I agree with you. I don't know much about the political side of this argument, but I think it's pretty stupid how lots of Americans are still so discriminatory.
