University of Michigan. It's a well known and prestigious research university. MichU is fine too, but if you're going for anything science, UMichigan is the place to be (if you live in Michigan, at least).

U of M is the more prestigeous Doctor college. When you hear about people with unique illnesses or something their own doctors can't figure out (in MI anyway) they get sent to U of M.

MSU is opening a new School in Grand Rapids soon, that will be linked with Spectrum Hospital, which is probably the second best Hospital in MI. There are a ton of new developements going up around this new school in GR to improve Spectrum and the Doctors there that the students would learn from. MSU is also marginally easier to get accepted to in general.
