actually I have.. me and my friend were talking about how different and funny it would be if a shoe, was called a slushi.. she said wouldn't that be funny if you would tell someone, "I like your slushi's there really pretty." it would be fun to say something like that!!!

Well I have no clue why they are named such as they are. It depends on your religion (adam and eve named everything,"god" did, etc. ) or whatever.
It probably wouldn't matter if the pears were called pears of snsosososoleberrr berries....we'd be used to it . Pear would be a funny or outlandish word to us.
