Five, and yes, I proudly admit that I'm a nerd, and I've made a good living being a nerd:

1. Do you read science fiction for pleasure?

Yes, in two languages.

2. Do you make certain to always have a book with you in case of down time?

I have a book reader on my PDA, so I always have a library in my pocket.

3. Do you rate yourself Below average athletically?

No

4. When you catch someone in a spelling or grammatical mistake, are you likely to mention it?

No, I worked hard to gain my education, why give it away for free to someone who obviously doesn't care?

5. Can you read, write or speak any specialized, "non-traditional" language? (A few possibilities: Tolkien's Elvish, Klingon, l33t, Celtic Runes, Esperanto, etc.)

I'm fluent in Esperanto, conversational in Spanish and German, have studied Polish and Mandarin.

6. When you encounter something you don't know, do you often try to find out what it is?

Of course, doesn't everyone intelligent? If not, how do they learn anything?

7. Do you enjoy taking academic classes?

No, they are too slow, I would rather learn at my own pace.

8. think Google and yahoo are god-like?

No, they're just websites.

9. Have you ever had an argument about which operating system is better?

Yes, Mac OS X RULES, Linux is a close 2nd, anything from Redmond blows chunks. But then computers are my job.

10. Specifically, can you write BASIC programs?

BASIC, do they still make that? I forgot all the BASIC I learned in college a long time ago, I'm learning Ruby now.
