I am about 10 wks pregnant. This is my 7/8wk sonogram. They are telling me that my HCG hormone is high and I have more amniotic fluid than normal. Twins runs in both sides of our family. Can someone please (preferable a doctor) take a look at my sonogram and tell me what you think?

Hi ... i have looked at your scan and if it was twins they would have told you at the 7/8 week scan i was told at this scan too i was having twins it would be very clear to doctor who was scanning you to tell if you were carring twins or not

I am a mom of twins. Alot of pregnancies start out as twins and one fades away and this is very very common. One embryo seems a lot larger than the other. What did the tech tell you? My twins were the same size but initially I was pregnant with triplets and the 3rd one was a lot smaller like this and the doctor told me to be prepared that it would most likely reabsorb even though it had a heart beat.A couple weeks later it was gone. Only a doctor or tech can tell you for sure. Good luck!

I would say yes,you were having twins...If you have high HCG levels..I'm no doctor though....somebody who has twins could answer this for you also...Good luck! and congradulations On whatever birth you have...
