Its better to have loved and lost rather than not being able to tell the person u love about how much u love him / her. So the most important thing for u should be to let the lucky guy / gal know how much u love him / her . And always nurture ur relationship. U need to put in constant efforts to make ur relationship successful to make sure ur love last forever.
