Why candy???

If you feel you must give them something how about some Easter Themed Note Pads, Erasers, and Pencils to practise there printing?

As a parent of 4 children (ages 2, 5, 7, and 9) its a disaster when one child comes home with candy and 2 don't - and of course whatever you have at home isn't good enough because its not the same. Try explaining to the 2 and 7 year old why there teachers didn't give them candy as well.

Just be careful on the amount of sugar free things you let your child have. There are warnings on the back of the packages of sugar free candy because people can get sick from eating too much. As for my favorite Easter candy... Reese's Eggs!! Stick with real jelly beans (Jelly Bellies), not those cheap .50 cent bags. And of course, you have to have a chocolate bunny!! Throw in some non food items also to help fill the basket. This way he/she won't have all sugar.

if u are a grandparent or parent and want candy for the kids, i would buy them little bags of fruit snacks, like fruit roolups, and welches fruit snacks, they are more nutricous, also kids eat too much candy at Easter time, so maybe purchasing some dollar store items like crayons, , doodle pads, arts and crafts, kids really like that stuff

Small easter whoopers (they make small ones for easter) and the little hard candy necklaces. Something small that they won't choke on or that will get stuck in their throat.
