Besides our moon, it's the only other large body in our solar system that humankind has a chance -in the relatively near future- to set foot on. Mercury and Venus are too hot, and the outer planets are too far away with too much gravity and/or radiation. Mars fits the bill for those with an adventuresome spirit and money to burn.

Mars is a very cold planet that has frozen ice caps which has led scientists to believe that there was once liquid water on Mars. An article was published on a Mars ocean and the channels that are present there could have been formed by water erosion.

Yes only on earth can you get a Mars bar, there are no Mars bars on Mars, in fact they do not even have Earth bars on Mars.
