No,, he sold secret technology to the Chinese, he failed to responds to ANY of the numerous terrorist attacks we had throughout his career, turned his wife loose to try and push socialized medicine, left us in a recession, made the headlines daily with new charges of rape or affairs. He was tied to the Whitewater scandal, travel office. He put more miles on Air Force one than any President. He annihilated our military, which is why we are spending so much today to bring it back to some level of protection, Don't ask don't tell. I'm tired, can't type any more.

Decent. He is over-rated by Democrats and under-rated my Republicans (I am one). He was not a "bad" President and he is a great politician, a master at political expediency (look at the "don't ask, don't tell" policy on gays in the military and his welfare reform). He was so concerned with being popular and not offended anyone too much that he didn't do nearly the damage that Hillary or Obama might. Sure he is a bit sleazy (and here too, most Dems go too easy on him and most Reps make way too big a deal out of it). But the bottom line is this, we often assign blame or credit to a President that they have no control over. It comes down to popularity, so in that regard, Clinton was very popular among his constituents, and that's what matters, half of the people in the country really like him and what he did a lot. And while half really hated him every President is going to have a lot of people who hate them, I guess a valid measure success would be how many people REALLY like them)

He was actually an excellent President. The economy was great. Unemployment was low. No war! Yes, he was good for this country and respected by other World Leaders which is important. I wish he could have just kept it in his pants. He was a great President, but horrible husband. Fortunately one doesn't have much to do with the other.

Honestly and probably not very popular, I would have to say that each President has his good and bad points. Bill Clinton will always be a hero to his followers, but the truth is many will always remember him lying about Monica and the embarrassment that he brought to the White house. My opinion,,,, he was okay, but lacked much control and should have addressed the threat of terrorism. Also, he had no business stealing things from the white house when he and Hillary left.

Besides the Monica Lewinsky scandel, he was a good president (35 out of 50). He kept the economy strong.

The worst since Wilson; more than any American, Clinton bears the responsibility for 9/11, and that’s just the tip of iceberg.

Actually, he was a better husband than a president. The only thing worse I can imagine would be his crazy wife.

Disastrous.
9/11 was clinton's fault.
We were attacked four times during his term, and he never retalliated. Plus he gutted our military, stripped it from to toe, then lied to the country about cheating on his wife...
so...
yeah, if that doesn't make you think he sucked, I don't know what will.
