Yes it is definitely true. People value a lot of things and there is always a thing or two that make us feel frustrated.
However, the way we carry ourselves reflect on how we handle the imperfections in our lives.
We all have defense mechanisms to cover up for this feelings of being pathetic.
No one could make you feel pathetic unless you yourself allow it.

Yeah, it's true that everybody has at least one thing in their life that makes them feel pathetic about themselves - it's what makes us all humans. Feeling this lets others know that their not alone and that we're all connected (at least one way or another).

That's a hard question to answer, because who can speak for anyone but themselves? I would think it's natural to feel that way about some aspects of our own lives, but I think the key is to take those perceived "flaws" and learn from them, to make yourself a better person!
