I personally can get really irritated when the person in front of me sitting in a position "the ankle on the knee" (especially when the socks are not long enough). The actual result of the conversation can depend on that. I feel to be kind of dominated (not mentioning desgusted by the look) and not being taken seriosly in that situation. What do you feel?

Yes, totally agree. Apparently 85% of communication is through facial expression/body language, so play them at their own game and get up and walk around ,especially with your back towards them when you are talking; this places them in a less dominant position and gives you more feeling of control!

Body language is extremely important. But remember, how you interpret this can be different than what is intended by the other person. Therefore, you have to be able to read all signs, unspoken, spoken, body language, etc. The socks are something that I don't quite understand. That should not have anything to do with the language. You are paying attention to something that is not part of the conversation. Is this person a friend? I cannot see a professional person sitting and talking such as this...

Well I don't mind the ankle on the knee so much, but sometimes I get distracted by certain things like if the person is looking deeply into my eyes, blinking or twitching a lot, or other nervous habits. I try to politely turn away a little and focus on what the person is saying, but I know it can be hard.

It's very important to me. The look you described doesn't seem dominating, but is unattractive.
