Whose death? Anyway, Tybalt tries to pick a fight with Romeo because Romeo was flirting with Tybalt's cousin Juliet at the Capulets' party. Romeo refuses to fight, but Mercutio fights Tybalt instead.

Tybalt seems to be recognized even by his own family as a hothead. Up until his death in Act III, he is constantly quarreling and never hesitates to draw a weapon in the face of a foe.
His nickname of "the Prince of Cats" may refer to the quarrelsome and vicious character of Tybalt the Cat in the fables of Reynard the Fox, which would have been well-known to Shakespeare's audience.

DUDE ITS SOOO complication-free... If Romeo didnt kill Tybalt reason he replaced into being an ***, then he could have nnever have been banished subsequently no longer having to run away, subsequently greater advantageous Juliet to no longer pretend her loss of life and Romeo wouldnt have killed himself. He escallated the rigidity between the families/ gangs extra.

well i am guessing this play is Romeo and Juliet i just finished reading it and tybalt is Juliets cousin and this play is a tradegy so that could mean that all characters die in this play
