Eagles will still be the team to beat in the NFC East. Shockey could be an Eagle before the season starts. Cowboys are still a mess. Redskins have nothing. Giants have a QB who still can't read defenses and now they have "Zero" running game.

Easily the Eagles. They have been the most consistently good team in the NFC East for 6 or 7 years now. Even without their starting QB they went to the divisional round of the playoffs this past year. While they have no Super Bowls to show for it, they are a contender. The Cowboys offensive line is too weak for the offense to be completely successful, but they pose the biggest threat to the Eagles. The Giants are in a state of ruin as many players have been cut (Arrington, Petitgout, Emmons, Morton) or retired (Barber, Whitfield), not to mention that everyone hates Tom Coughlin. The Redskins never seem to be good, though any success they have will rest on the maturity and growth of Jason Campbell if he is, in fact their future at QB. Otherwise the Redskins are too thin in too many areas and all they ever do is play Fantasy Football every offseason. Eagles take the division, Cowboys probably get playoff spot, Giants and Redskins not even close.

This is really a dumb question. The Giants will take it next year. For the guy who said Eli is one of the worst quarterbacks, well you're an idiot. Eli is still getting used to the game, and he has improved greatly since his rookie year. Now, the G-Men didn't do so hot this year, but that was because injuries plagued them the entire year. However, the Giants cleaned house after the season. They hired a new quarterbacks coach and offensive and defensive coordinators. They also released many of the older players who got hurt frequently, and they are looking to spend their money on younger, more productive players. yes, tiki is gone, and it will be tough for jacobs to fill his shoes, but jacobs is a monster. he is one heck of a running back, and people are afraid to tackle him. the giants also traded for droughns, so the running game will obviously wear down defenses. With icons like Jeremy Shockey, Michael Strahan, Osi Umenyiora, Plaxico Burress, Amani Toomer, Antonio Pierce, and Sam Madison it will take one heck of an effort to beat this team next year.
Let's not forget
Eagles: Stallworth, Hood, and Garcia are gone
McNabb cannot stay healthy
Cowboys: Offense can never find rhythm
Romo is overrated, he is nowhere near as good as people make him out to be
Defense always take hits with injuries
Redskins: Brunell is out meaning they got a young gun starting, don't expect many wins from him
Great receivng core, but the offense just can't get them involved
The defensive front seven gets dominated by the opposing o-line every game
The Giants are the best team in the NFC East. Eli has worked wonders for this team, and he will only get better.

Eagles - With McNabb healed they should be able to get the top spot if he stays that way. A key loss in the QB position of Garcia *could* spell trouble if McNabb gets hurt.
Cowboys - Romo needs to calm down and read all possible options. Better O-line. Better secondary. Need to involve Owens a smidgen more. Could be distracted by Owens off-field actions if any.
Giants - Younger Manning needs to realize that he is not his brother. Needs to focus. The team loss in RB Barber will hinder them unless Jacobs can step up.
Redskins - Need to re-format thier entire team. if they can do this, then they'll be a contender.

This division should be wide open next year. I would say any team could win the division except the Redskins. But who knows, they may have the best running attack out of the four teams next year.
1. Dallas-they were in good shape, but faded down the stretch last year.
2. Eagles-they need McNabb and Westbrook to stay healthy though.
3. Giants-they will definitely miss Tiki. Eli needs to have more consistent season.
4. Redskins-have no clue how the quarterbacking will be.

keep in mind the NFC East had to pass up against the AFC North this 12 months, and the two Pittsburgh and Baltimore have been stiff opposition. at the same time as i think of the NFC South grew to become into super, i think of the East grew to become into extra effective. Giants, and the Eagles the two.

I'm a Cowboy fan and would love to say they'll win it but, the division is so closely matched up, it's too hard to say. If I had to put money on it I'd go with the friggin' Giants. Eli's gonna come out of his funk this year I think and Shockey will be used more so, even though I hate to admit it, the NY football Giants.

redskins because Gibbs is a proven winner injuries last season took a toll on them losing portis and 2 starters in the secondary last season killed them nobody works harder than gibbs and i think he will turn it around the cowboys will be 2nd but losing parcells i think it will take the new guy a year or so to get what he wants in place the eagles well they will start to decline mcnabb still wont be 100% look at culpepper last year so philly had their opprotunities a few years ago they still wont get it done ,and after losing tiki the g-men will bring upthe cellar no one likes coughlin and till hes gone the giants will continue to be mediocre at best
