It could be a lot of things.
You could have sensitive skin.
You could be using the wrong razor (a cheap one, a worn down one, ect.)
Or you could be using a shaving cream (or none at all) that can be irritating your skin.
You could try switching some of your products up. Or, you could opt for waxing (which I wouldnt recommend if your legs get all red and bumpy.. it may make it worse) Or you could use nair. Just try them out, and whatever works best you should stick with.

Use the shick intuition. It is a shaver with soap built into the side of it so you don't need to buy the cream and the razor. Get the one for sensitive skin. It seems to me like your skin is sensitive and is reacting to whatever shaving cream you are using and causing irritation to your legs. Even if you don't buy the intuition razor buy shaving cream that is for sensitive skin and try it out first on a small section of your leg to be sure your skin doesn't have a negative reaction to it.

Maybe you are alergic to the perfume in the lotion and the shaving cream.
I have very sensative skin, and i am not able to use scented shaving cream, because my legs will break out with pimples and red bumbs.
So next time, maybe try an unscented lotion and shaving cream.

Be sure you're using a sharp razor. If thats means buying a10-pack of cheap razors and throwing them out after one use, so be it. Let your legs heal a few days and try again with a brand-new razor, and some rich shaving gel.

How odd, that use to happen to me also so I looked it up on-line and it's called razor burn or razor rash. I tried using condition as a shaving cream and it worked for me. I also tried not shaving every day plus trying different kinds of razors. Hope my comment works for you. Take care !
Sincerely, Caitlin

Well i think the cause of that is that you shave when ur cold, meaning when u have gooz bumps, and when they r up u shaveee wich cuts them or irritate ur skin, so try shaving when ur not cold with hot water, and change ur shaving cream to aveeno.. good luck!

you are probably pulling your hairs and causing them to become inflamed. In this situation I would say use lots of soap or shaving cream, and shave in the same direction your hair grows( then you have less chance of pulling your hairs). Happy shaving!

Wax, don't shave. It lasts longer (4 - 6 weeks) and is better for your skin.
