my employer has been considering adopting "casual friday" for the workplace, and this friday will be our first trial run.

would it be better to just go to work in the pajamas i wake up in? or should i shower FIRST and wear different pajamas?

while casual means different things to different people, I would NEVER show up to work without a shower! GROSS!

as to wearing pajamas, I would think that casual Friday was not extended quite that far.

consider some nice blue jeans and your favorite T-shirt with a funny (but clean) saying.

unless other people come this Friday in PJ's, I'd hold off on that idea for a few weeks to see what the "office norm" will be.

Birthday suit? what could be more casual than that?

Celeophane an custards always good for a laugh, though it can be uncomfortable sitting at a desk for long periods.

Go with the Pj's, showered or not, I'm sure you'll look dappa baby.

casual friday means where regular clothes instead of your uniform or whatever... not pajamas. so wear jeans and a t-shirt or something like that

bathe first - then different PJs. But In the US "Casual Day" means shirt and jeans...not PJs. If you abuse this, it might be the last casual friday.

Depends what time you wake up - if you're running late 'come as you are' so to speak, but if you have a spare 10 minutes, shower, then change.

Save your PJ's until your boss introduces 'Duvet Days'

Otherwise smart jeans & casual shirt/tshirt

try and avoid sportswear/trashy jeans & trainers

Casual doesn't mean unshowered and in PJ's. It just means not office atire.
Thus, sweatpants and sweatshirt.
Blue Jeans and a comfortable top.
