ENC = Means "Encore", subset name or parellel insert of the subset in a card set. The term "Encore" has been used by many card companies for baseball and basketball sets; for example 1996 Fleer Update Encore baseball and its parellel Tiffany Encore.

RC = Rookie Card. It's basically the first base or regular issue card of a player from major licensed brands issued in the first year the player appears on cards. But beginning with new releases in 2006, a card will be called a rookie card if it is the first time the player has been placed on the 40 man roster for a major league team. The player must be up with the team and not playing in the minor leagues. With this new MLBPA rules, you know that you have a "true" rookie card if it has the new "Rookie Card" logo on the front of the card.

baseball taking part in cards are not properly worth crap...the industry is far oversaturated and that they are quite properly well worth the paper they're revealed on. I also have a extensive sequence from the 80's and early ninety's that are properly worth much less now than they have been while i bought them.
