Your question is a bit confusing. There are many countries that are leaders. The European Union is the strongest multi-cultural financial entity in the history of the world- the US is the single richest state in the world, China has the largest Army, Japan has the most technological army, etc. Maybe you could give us a bit more information.

in my opinion, china does, because they export so many valuable materials. they are also large enough that any army they could create would be scarily massive (and due to the incredible Chinese work ethic, they can get anything done). the US used to be, before they lost the respect of all other nations by foolishly ignoring international customs in general and by blindly entering a war in which they don't belong.

God, but since I know that's not the answer you are looking for. I would say the USA is on a fast decline, kind of like all "empires" in history, this too shall pass. We got too selfish and too greedy. I think it's up for grabs, but I'd look to Asian countries.
