the instructions BEFORE or AFTER you're done?

In the hands of a master builder, instructions are merely the suggestions of the less talented, and should be handled as such! [I must confess, at this point, that it took me an entire semester of school- in wood shop -to build 2 book ends!]

I'll admit, I don't like reading the instructions because I'm impatient. I usually keep the instructions there as a guide and refer to them as I need them... but I usually end up having to read most of them!
