I believe the very definition of a salt is an ionically bonded compound made up of cations and anions.

Therefore, yes anything that is a mineral salt will be ionically bonded. However, the individual ions may contain covalent bonds internally.

By definition, a salt is a compound of an anion (or an anion group) and a cation. Cations and anions are both ions, a cation is a positively charged ion and an anion is a negatively charged ion. When two opposite ions are attracted to each other they combine with an ionic bond.
