I want some real structural engineers to answer this question. Over 40% of Americans believe that the Twin Towers were brought down by explosives. That's a big number. Are all those Americans nuts? On the morning of 9/11/01 my colleague was on the phone with her husband, a structural engineer. He said that he didn't think the Towers would come down, BUT, he did describe a scenario by which they might come down. He was wrong about them not falling, but was dead on about the manner by which they would fall. Isn't it possible that the fire really did bring down the towers? I'm not ready to accept that my government ACTIVELY murdered 3,000 people that morning (though I've already accepted that they might have done so PASSIVELY).
Just structural engineers. No conspiracy wackos.

2 commercial jet liners fully fueled hit the towers causing a massive fire. this led to the collapse of the towers.another plane struck the pentagon causing massive dammge to all five layers of solid steele and mortar. another plane was crashed and totally consumed with flames from fully loaded fuel tanks by the passengers who knew they were doomed. what planet were you on when this occured?

I've asked the same question of the conspiracy types. I asked them to give some examples of actual structural engineers who deny the WTC was brought down by the airliners hitting it. They never can.
Now if you want to do some reading go to these sites and a lot of the conspiracy nuts claims are addressed in a thoughtful and understandable manner.

Whe knows what happened! What I do know is you aren't being told the truth. If you were, there would be no need for millions of secret documents that you can't see!
Those towers were meant to withstand fire and p;ane crashes, and not just a couple of hours of fire!
If fire brought them down they would be the 1st and the 2nd in the history of the world!
